Marcel Favery
Photographer and FilmmakerMarcel Favery was born in Brazil and lives and works in Portugal. He studied Marketing and has been working as a photographer and filmmaker, specialized in nature, adventure, fashion, music and extreme sports photography. He has worked all around the world in places like Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Venezuela, Mexico, Madagascar, Portugal, Italy, Spain and more.
I am always ready to hit the road and start shooting, either on land, in the water or on air.

Where in the world is the biggest systemic fault?
It is in education, because it misses the opportunity to grant some level of independence to people.

How we met Marcel
We ran an open call from the 24th of May to the 18th of June 2021.
We selected eleven projects that explore contemporary discontinuities using the medium of text, photography, illustration or drawing.
Marcel Favery submitted the project Água, Rochas e o Tempo which was selected to be included and published in the first issue of chumbo — our printed magazine dedicated to creative research.
